Tallees is created with just two stitch patterns which get repeated throughout, so it is easily memorized.

The blocked shawl measures 54” in length and 19.5” in height. It can easily be made longer and wider, with more yardage added.

Yarn

• 1 Yarnology skein, holding 33 yards each in lace, fingering, sport, DK and bulky weights and 7 texture and color changes, all hand tied for your knitting pleasure. 231 yards per skein. Or use your stash in the portions described.

• US size 17 (12.75 mm) circular (20")  in length (50.8 cm) or stick needles  (13") (33 cm) use point protectors.

•  Darning needle or crochet hook for weaving in ends.

Gauge:  9 sts (4 stitch pattern repeats across) and 5 rows in pattern repeat (vertically) as per pattern stitch listed in 4" with sport weight yarn.

Level of Expertise: Easy

Techniques used:  Loops cast on method, knit, purl, yarn overs, knitting stitches together, changing colors and yarn weights, stretchy bind off.
